Bloom is a motion graphic based on the haiku by Katsushika Hokusai, A Poppy Blooms.

This poem describes that the artistic process is not linear and often requires much back-and-forth. The graphic forms start as small and individual and begin multiplying as they transition through these beating bars. Sometimes they bounce on these bars and other times they pass through. Finally, following Hokusai’s haiku, a metaphorical poppy blooms, and the graphic forms burst into a new atmosphere of their own, perhaps representing the lovely “aha” moment during the artistic process.
